Integrative Psychotherapy with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
In my practice, as a psychoterapist in Barcelona, I combine an integrative approach with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which allows me to more effectively support people facing a wide range of challenges – from anxiety and depression, through emotional or relationship crises, to the effects of trauma and difficult past experiences.
As an expat myself in Barcelona, I understand the unique challenges of living abroad – such as feelings of isolation, cultural adjustment, or navigating relationships far from familiar support systems. This perspective helps me connect with and support other expats through psychoterapy in English in Barcelona more effectively.
Integrative psychotherapy is an evidence-based approach that brings together methods from different therapeutic schools – such as psychodynamic, humanistic, systemic, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. This flexibility makes it possible to adapt the work to you – your needs, personality, pace, and goals.
I don’t rely on a single theory or rigid framework, because I believe every person is unique and deserves a tailored approach. At the heart of the process is the therapeutic relationship itself – safe, supportive, built on trust, empathy, and authentic connection.
